Samuel H. Dworetsky joined the firm in 2016 as Of Counsel after spending 37 years at AT&T - first as a Ph.D. research physicist at Bell Laboratories, and then, since 1978, as a patent attorney, patent litigation attorney and managing patent attorney in the IP-Law group at AT&T. When Sam left AT&T in 2006, he was a managing patent attorney responsible for all patent prosecution and all defense patent pre-litigation matters for AT&T. For the past 10 years, Sam has worked in private practice at his own firm. During the course of his career, Sam has worked in patent prosecution, patent litigation, patent transactions, defensive patent opinion matters and supervision of patent prosecution attorneys. His work has involved a very broad range of technical areas in the field of communications. Sam is an Adjunct Professor of Patent Law at the Seton Hall University School of Law – a post he has held since 2000.
