PROFILE
Kin-Wah Tong is a founding member of the firm. He practices patent, trademark, and copyright law with an emphasis on patent application preparation and prosecution, pre-litigation counseling and opinion work in the fields of electrical and computer engineering. Mr. Tong has extensive technical experience in telecommunications, networking, image processing, compression, encryption, semiconductor, nanotechnology, computer software and hardware technologies. Mr. Tong also counsels clients in the strategic use of the reexamination process, and he regularly conducts face to face interviews with Examiners of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office at Washington D.C. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Tong had been a patent attorney at Unisys Corporation.
