PROFILE
Lloyd F. Bean, II joined the firm in 2019 as Of Counsel after spending 29 years at Xerox Corporation. Initially as an engineer at Xerox’s Webster Research Center and since 1993 as a patent attorney. At Xerox Corporation he became a subject matter expert in Intellectual Property law and provided proactive counseling to Xerox’ Research Centers stakeholders to resolve a variety of intellectual property and general legal related issues. Practice experience included drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of contracts, preparing and prosecuting patent applications in various technologies, litigation, freedom-to-operate, opinions, competitive analysis, patent strategy, brand protection and brand counseling.
